    धरतरेर जांका जल्म फावों जाला तीं सगलींच फुलां. रचनाकारांन जांका जांका हांगा प्राणी,जिवीत दिवंन धाडला तो प्रत्येक प्राणी आप आपल्या परी व्हड ल्हान आसा. सुख आनी दुख हें जिणेक प्रवास करपाची शक्ती दिता. सैंबाची करणी आमच्यान बदलू न्हजो . तरी मनीस हो प्राणी जायते करूं शकता. फक्त तांका ती एक अशी ताकद जाय की मुखार ऊबो रावतल्यांक बरोच आनी सारकों मान मेळटलो. फुलां तरेकवार तशींच मनशांय विविध रंग,रूप घेवंन आयल्यांत. फुलां,झाडां ,सुर्य,चंद्र...हें भेदभाव करिनात...मागीर मनशांन कित्या करचे. बाकी तांणे तुजीं रचना केल्या. तुका कसो जावचो हे तर मनीस थारायता. -सोनाली सु. पेडणेकर

  • ಮರಣ್ ಚೊರಾಪರಿಂ ಯೇನಾ!

    This poetry reminds me of the memorable words of the death recorded in a novel called "The Book Thief" Although I read this book a few years ago, the following phrases remain in my memory. " Death does not demonstrate his dominance in a humorous or menacing manner. It does not seek out our people with the intent of killing them. Death simply collects souls when their time comes. The poem and its elaboration are just mind-blowing, with profound significance and understanding of death. Despite the pain of losing a friend, it is comforting to know that the individual did not suffer. Just wonderful.

    Very emotional poetry. Reminds everyone's mother who are their later years treats us as a stranger. It reminds me my mother, a day before her passing away asked for her regular peg. When i offered the second one, she said - "beda saaku. Yaru Neenu. Nange tight madthiya" for a moment she forgot I am her son and till the next day, only spoke in Kannada. The poem reminded me my mother. Great poem indeed.
